How do I access (register/log in) into the Training Portal?
To register for the Training Portal you simply need to add all of the mandatory registration details into the registration box. On completion of registration information, you will be asked to verify your email. This verification will appear in the email inbox you have used to register with. Once verified you will have completed registration. Please keep a secure reminder password and email used as it will required for future logging in.
What if I forget/need to change my password?
If you have forgotten your password please select “forgot password” at the login box on the homepage. An email will automatically be sent to your email account you registered with a link to reset your password. If you are logged into your account already and wish to change your password you can reset your password using the “reset password”.
How do I know what training courses I need to undertake?
Please discuss this with your line manager in the first instance. The descriptions provided for each course will help you explore what is the most relevant course for you.
How do I book on to a selected course module?
Access your learner login and follow “My Courses” within the course outlines you will have the option to “view module” and select the module you wish to book. At this point you will be sent to a calendar link that will be populated with training dates. Please select and complete the booking details requested. You will then receive an email to confirm, please select “add to calendar”. Your calendar will then contain the invite to your training.
How do I know if I am booked on a course?
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking to the email account you have registered with. Please check your junk items in the first instance if you can’t locate your email confirming of booking.
What instructions will I receive for the course?
Your booking confirmation will contain the key information you will need on the day for the course you have booked on e.g. if this is course delivered face to face the details of the date/times/room for the course. If the course is delivered online session you will receive a teams link to access this.
Please note that some programmes are delivered as e-learning modules so you can directly access and work though this yourself.
Any further instructions required will come directly from the trainer for the course.
How do I cancel or reschedule a course module?
You will have received an email when your training is confirmed. On this email it will give you the option to reschedule. If you no longer have access to the email, you will be able to cancel in your diary, but you will need to go back into your selected course model to rebook.
How do I upload the required documents when I have completed a course?
Documents can be uploaded by following these simple steps. Firstly, complete the required assessment forms. These could be in a quiz or questionnaire format. Once completed, select get score and save this document. You can do this by right clicking in your document and select print. In your print destination drop down, select “save to PDF” and submit. This will save your completed document into your device. Next, access your learner login account in the training portal and go into the section “My Uploads”. Here you need to upload your document against the aligned module you are working in.
How will I be assessed?
Your completed training modules will be assessed via the uploaded documents you provide upon completion. For all trainer led modules they will assessed directly by the trainer. Once assessed you will receive a notification in your learner, training portal with confirmation of both attendance and your pass. For all self-learned modules, you will upload your completed assessment documents and once uploaded it will automate a certificate within the training portal for you to download.
How will I gain certification for the courses I complete?
For Trainer Led courses you will receive certification once you have completed and uploaded your assessment documents. The trainer will then mark your assessments and notify you of a pass. Once you have received notification of completion and a pass you will see your certificate ready to download in the “certificates” section of you learner, training portal. For Self-Learned courses you will again need to complete the self-learning and the assessment document, and upload this. Once uploaded it will automate your certificate ready to download in the “certificates” section of your learner, training portal.
